Establishing an association within the University of Luxembourg has been our first instinctive collective decision. Conscious and Cultural Student Association (CCSA) was created out of our sheer enthusiasm to contribute and intensify the artistic
and cultural activities within the university life as well as minimize the existing inter-human barriers of this shared environment.
CCSA has been our stepping stone on promoting and reaching young artists, most of them being students. More importantly, it has granted us the opportunity to get in touch and collaborate with some of the main stakeholders in the area, and to be part of different cultural activities with which we are aiming to build a platform for students-artists, who are critically lacking such space!
From global warming to the social inclusiveness of the vulnerable groups in society, the challenges we are facing today have become substantial and far-reaching. Our values as an association go hand in hand with the common good, making us committed towards acting and raising awareness for an ecological, social involvement of the student community in the society. Our persistence for justice and rightfulness in the issues we embrace will always be led by peace actions, being it our ultimate purpose. The incorporation of expressive forms of art with our engagement on societal concerns is one of the main goals of the association.
